The Grasmere Collection

In the late 1970's I met Andy Honeybone and Paul Colbert and together we created three album-length recordings on 4-track reel-to-reel tape which, thanks to Audio Reunited, can be heard once again. As the years passed I lost touch with Andy and Paul but thanks to these old recordings we are back in contact.

My interest in home recording continued after Andy and Paul taught me enough of the basics to get started on my own. I acquired various pieces of kit over the years and created a number of recordings. The first, produced after a very good friend of mine introduced me to hill walking and after some days staying in the lake district I created the recording 'The Grasmere Collection', based on the events of those few days and the inspiration of being in the hills.
